What a blessing to have sisters-in-Christ with whom to share the journey of seeking the fulfillment of our purposes as HE allows us to remain upon this earth!  I believe we each have specific roles to play, specific tasks to perform, specific words to speak and write and specific creations to create.  I believe HE directs our every step.  Therefore, I believe where each of us find ourselves, even on this day, October 26, 2009, although uncertainty exists and adventure seems definite, we commit to HIM and one another that we are completely fulfilling the place – the point – in time where we have been ordained to be.  As I meditate on the fact that my journey will be entering its third year next February, I question HIS timing and HIS reasoning for, in what I consider to be an inexhaustible delay, HE deems every moment and second of my existence and I am not one feather’s breath away from what HIS interpretation of what my perfection should be.  I cry “Dear FATHER, why have YOU not “so and so and so” and HE replies “Shush now, my little one, be still and listen, for I speak with great clarity and direction.”

In fact today, that still small voice said “I have made you imperfect in all things because of the perfectness of ME and I gave you interest and delight in all things because of the passion with which I will use you to lead others to their destiny.  Yes, you love trees, architecture, books, travel, crochet, baking, artwork, music, knowledge, intellect, simplicity and so on.  And yes, you are not “gifted” in any of these things.  I did not want you to pursue any ONE thing but be interested in all that I have made so that you can encourage others in their pursuits of the talents and gifts which I have given to them.”

I heard HIS voice.
